We test all your appliances and electrical equipment to ensure they are safe and meet the regulations laid down by the Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Health and Safety Executive. As part of our service we also ensure your company meets the needs of the electrical appliance safety guidelines laid down by H M Government fire safety Order that came into force in October 2006. Our ongoing service also means you can call us any time in the following twelve months free if you are unsure about an appliances electrical safety, or if you would like further help or advice. Thought for the month A large Hotel chain was fine £20.000 with £1700 cost for two incidents. One was an employee who got a shock of a broken plug whilst unplugging an appliance. The other was a guest who got a shock of a damaged plug on a portable heater. If you run a Hotel, PAT testing may cost a few hundred pounds but you can be sure it wont be £20.000!
