I was absolutely delighted with the bridal head dress that Linda at DISTINCT made for my big day.

After a brief consultation with her, she produced a beautiful and customized design that complimented my wedding dress perfectly and which received many compliments.

This was all done without any fuss and to the highest quality.
I also ordered smaller versions for each of my 3 bridesmaids which they still wear to this day!!

Linda began the session by explaining the history of ‘Colour Me Beautiful’ and how, originally, it focussed on the four seasons but had evolved over the last couple of yours to incorporate fair, dark, cool, warm, clear and soft. She illustrated this in more detail by taking me through a book that featured various models and actresses who fell into each of the six categories.



Linda then removed my make up, asked me to push my hair away from my face using an Alice Band and then placed a white sheet around me. During the next hour and a half Linda took me through the whole range of colours and metallics, she encouraged me to fully participate in the session by asking me what I thought of each colour, pointing out to me the effect certain colours had on my eye colour, jaw line, pallor, general complexion and the under eye area. The session also included a full make over.



I really enjoyed the whole experience. Linda instantly put me at my ease, I felt very relaxed and comfortable and found the whole session fascinating. By the end of the session I felt very confident in my ability to ‘spot’ which colours suited me and which ones I clearly needed to avoid, something I definitely couldn’t do very well before the session! In addition, I also gained some very useful hints and tips with regard to make up choices and application.



I have been shopping since the session and found that I was much more focussed and confident and believe that I have bought items that truly suit me. Friends and family have been very complimentary so it must be working!



I would thoroughly recommend this service to anyone who wants to build their confidence and make the most of what they have - it has certainly stopped me wasting money buying items of clothing that do nothing for me.
